OPEN VS CLOSED KITCHEN.

A never-ending debate which only depends on the interior design of your home, especially your kitchen. As they say, the kitchen is the heart of your home and those who believe in open spaces and minimal designs like to keep it open to allow the house looking more aesthetic and spacious.

It’s no question, open kitchen looks trendy and classy, but does it work for your house? With open kitchen, you can easily oversee other rooms and monitor with no hindrance specially if you have children. However, with a no door policy, you must make sure that your kitchen always looks immaculate as messy kitchen will make your whole house look dirty but also foul smelling too. It can get very embarrassing if any guests arrive and the kitchen of the house is a mess. Rather, it’s okay to have a closed kitchen which is not visible to any guest or other member of the family.

For people living in small apartments, it is recommended to have an open kitchen to make the area look bigger since the houses rates are sky high in Karachi, modern kitchens are mostly open and attached to the living rooms. In case you don’t like everyone peeking in your kitchen, it is best to have a closed kitchen policy.
